Band

At Immaculate Conception School, students begin learning their instruments in 4th grade and continue their musical advancement through the upper-elementary and middle school levels. 

Members of the band program have a weekly pull-out instrumental lesson in a small group setting. These lessons operate on a rotating schedule to avoid missing the same class consecutively. Concert Band and Jazz Band rehearsals are held weekly on the gymnasium stage.

ICS band members participate in various musical activities throughout the school year. These include the Christmas and Spring Concerts, the Music in the Parks Middle School Band Festival, parades, school masses, and small ensemble showcase performances.
